There have been multiple studies done on this and its negative impact on masculinity in society.

Sexualizing everything is kind of a different topic, and is going to be the reason why most women who are 25-35 and single now with no kids will be that way likely for the rest of their lives. Instagram is probably one of the worst offenders. All women who post on there for constant attention believe they are 10's, and have unrealistic expectations for potential male partners. Combine that already toxic situation with the divorce courts favoring women in most scenarios and it's no wonder the marriage rate is dropping like a rock. It becomes even more difficult for single mothers, since no man who is successful with a decent head on his shoulders wants that additional responsibility of raising another man's child.

I have a few friends who are single moms and I truly feel bad for them, because they are decent people with good careers, etc, but were sold on the idea of feminism and just "being free and screwing anyone you want, just like a man" while they were in college, and now it's hard for them to find someone worthwhile to date them because of 1 or more kids in tow, sometimes from different fathers.

Late to the convo but FYI, kids were fucking before the interenets. I was a little whore when I was a pup so there had to be more than a few girls doing the same. And, yeah, social clubs were the gathering. I even got play from a church youth group I would attend mainly for the access to the indoor courts in winter. Cheerleading? And everyone knew a kid with absentee parents and a basement. If you have a teen and you went on a trip without them there is a good chance half the hood has fucked in your basement.

Its just all "out there" now. Now you don't have to go over to Timmies to play "If you show me yours, Ill show you mine" you can do it using your phones. On the flip since they are miles away teen pregnancy has crashed because they are getting that side fulfilled in a way without personal contact.

I was the king of porno during school. Had the fastest systems for hi speed download. Those day I tried to convince my girlfriend too as it is normal.
The truth is that it destroyed my real sense of love, unrealistic expectations from sex with your partner, sometimes offensive. Dirty. Maybe the people involved had under blackmail and many other bad related things. I quit, was very difficult, quitting smoke and other stuff I cannot write was easier. You've conditioned yourself to respond to stimuli that is not helping you in any way whatsoever. Just like smoking or drinking, you're gonna have to make up your mind as to what you personally believe in. Feeding your mind visual imagery of strangers in the act meant for the procreation of our species. Or, putting that time and energy into someone you personally love and/or finding that person for yourself.

Good luck, it's worth it, and eventually, similar to cigarette addiction, you won't be tempted. But it might take as long as a year or 2 for your mind to fully stop going to that dark place to find comfort or temporary relief from whatever you are truly running from.
