Cup Holder Ideas

I have owned many BMWs and 4 different 7 series. My 2020 740 cup holders are my least favorite. The spring loaded side holders are so tight that it is difficult to get a cup in them without wiggling side to side. A thermos style coffee cup is difficult but a styrofoam or paper cup is nearly impossible. Anyone find a good solution to widen the cup holder?

I would love to retrofit the heated/cooled cupholders to my 740 from the X5/X7 vehicles

Anyone done that?

Bought some cup holder inserts from Amazon but they look terrible. Anyone found one you like? Anyone else think the cup holder tensioners are super tight making it hard to insert a cup?
