Any Drone Enthusiasts on here?

Thinking of picking up a Mavic Pro for use in my work. Plus they are fun as hell!

Mavic Pro is good, but the tech behind it is going on about 3 years now. I have one that I used maybe no more than 7-8 times. Brought it to HI a couple of months ago, and a couple other destinations, but didn't even get to fire it up.

I would recommend placing a pre-order for the Mavic Air if you can afford to wait.

I am thinking about of picking up the Mavic Air. To me this drone checks all the boxes: travel friendly size, good spec for my use and got all the bells and whistles.

That was a short pre-order window!

The Mavic Air is arguably the best portable drone out there right now. It simply doesn't make sense to buy a Mavic Pro unless it's heavily discounted.

One of the bigger reasons to go with a Mavic Air over a Mavic Pro is DJi's transition over to a lithium based battery.

Had a DJI Spark until it decided to run away on its own. Fired it up, GPS good and all then shot up and lost connection to it. Looking at getting the Mavic Air soon...that is if the new one DJI comes out with in a few weeks is not that expensive.

I told my wife I wanted a Porsche 911 Carrera S. She said “I can’t afford it”. I hate her. J/ k j/k
Post some pics and videos. I am on a limb to buy a drone. A guy was selling a two-year old DJi 4 for 699 with extra 3 batteries and a case. I passed. I heard the Mavic was way better.

That Casey Neistat review was impressive. Definitely tempting. To get that under $500 would be amazing.
