Differences between N63 and N63tu
Does anyone know the specific differences between the N63 and N63tu engines used in the 750 F01/02?
I wonder if it the changes are merely simple upgrades such as higher performance fuel injectors, coils, and plugs.. I would like to increase my MPG and think fuel efficiency may be the simple path. |

Its way more than that. Virtually the whole motor was overhauled, from the bottom up.
The economy difference has nothing to do with the motor itself. When the TU was introduced, so was the 8 speed, and thats where any economy difference comes from. |

Not sharing the same part numbers is exactly the info that I am seeking, although I need the specifics. It doesn't sound like you have that info.
I was hoping someone had already done the analysis but I guess not. Time to do some work. |

I have all the info, because I have ETK access. I'm not about to go through the motor part by part though.

Okay. Good for you which does nothing for me or anyone else seeking to improve fuel efficiency. As I said, I was hoping that someone had performed the analysis for the differences and what the impact might be be.
