Ugly but not EQS ugly. Interior is objectively class-leading dare I say? BMW really had to go tech forward with this generation as the G11 was lackluster from and interior tech and design standpoint.

I think this will be a winner for BMW.

At this point BMW's look like they have aftermarket parts and badges installed at the factory…

Thousands of engineers, designers, executives couldn't think of that during the years they worked on this car, during entire designing, developing, testing timelines; and then you've seen a few pictures and you got it! You're incredible! What a genius!

Although I am not shopping for a new 7 series, the target customer of 7 series most likely prioritizes comfort, space, noise isolation over front end aesthetics. It will sell.

Hmm, I've seen TVs that size and they're not quite the same form factor.

Still, nobody is actually forcing you to buy one and then spec the screen

I may have missed this but does the interactive Touch Bar do anything i.e. does it show relevant buttons for the passenger or it it just a nice, ambient light show?

Pity it's not a separate screen so the passenger can watch streaming media/videos etc - I *think* the EQS has this?
