Exclamation Fun story about a B7

So I was at the dealer for whatever reason last week and was chatting up the used, er.. preowned.. salesman about a sweet looking Alpina B7 on the lot. Since it just came out I found it a bit odd being on the used lot.

So he tells me the dealer (Northwest, in Owings Mills, MD) leant it to the Baltimore Raven's All Star, Ray Lewis for about a year for promotional purposes. They didn't title the car, so he was rolling around with dealer plates.

Anyway, the dealer was saying that for whatever reason, Ray never once changed the oil, nor did he add any when the iDrive said to. He apparently did so much damage that they can't resell it as Certified Preowned!! What a bummer for the dealership. Soo...

The MSRP is around $120k and they are selling it for a mere $70k! A $50 thousand dollar mistake.

Epic Fail!

This just proves Ray Lewis is a douche bag. I have a better choice of wording but will refrain.

It's ridiculous that he could be lent a car and then not be held responsible for such a careless mistake. I understand not noticing something major but flat out ignoring the low oil warning. You need to be taken out back and shot, even if you are Ray Lewis. Stupid fucker.

Funny you should say that, as he killed someone back in 2000

Wow that is a fun story. And doesn't surprise me one bit. Atheletes these days, especially in the NFL, are out of control. The world is a playground to them, where there don't seem to be consequences for anything....

Why is it that rich scum like Lewis get a B7 "loaned" to them? Life is just not fair.

As an aside, losing $50k off a year-old $120k car probably is not that unusual. This SL63 AMG is down $21k and it only has 285 miles on it and is still under warranty.

I bet he left it by the side of the road when the engine crapped out.
