Wheels - can't decide

I'm trying to decide between these two. Going 20" staggered. Current setup is 19" square.

The first one would be 20x8.5 ET20 front and 20x10 ET40 rear - TSW crowthorne 20 spoke

Second is 20x9 ET25 front and 20x10ET50 rear: Mandrus Masche 20 spoke

Struggling to pick one as I like both.

Also, OEM on rear is ET40. Any issues, in anyones view, with going ET50 and adding the extra 10mm? I don't want it hanging way out of the fender.

You can get an idea (with measurements and an illustration) of what your "old" and your "new" wheel/tire combo will be on each axle if you use the calculator at this site: www.willtheyfit.com

Enter the info for the old vs new for each axle and you'll see if there's too much "poke" (toward the fender)...or too much "inset" (toward your suspension).

I can’t help with dimensions and fit, but as between the two sets, I like the second ones much better.

Helpful stuff. ET50 will be too close to the suspension so I can't do it. I'm going to see what other sizing options there are.

Both sets look nice, but I am with Lawguy with the second set - my OCD has determined that they would be easier to clean due to the wider spoke gap!

Haha.

I think first set look like a 540i or e43, whereas the second look like. 750i or an s63.

I'm a detailer. They will definitely be getting ceramic coating before mounting.

I had mine ceramic coated from new, and it definitely makes the job easier. I use a Valetpro product to clean the wheels - ph neutral, diluted 50:50 with 0ppm water, left to dwell for 5 mins then pressure washed off - zero contact and still as fresh today as the day it arrived! Tyres still need a good clean though!!

Good luck with your choice and pictures are of course mandatory!

I'll definitely post photos. Unfortunately the ones I wanted are out of stock in my size so pictures will be a little ways off.

I am looking at other options too but since they are for summer and I live in New Hampshire I'm not in a huge rush.

Now I find myself thinking about 21" wheels.

Any experience with 20 vs 21 relative to ride quality? I would go with Michelin Pilot or Continental ExtremeContact for tires.

You'll see a slight change in ride quality. Maybe not by much but it's there due to the lower profile tire. Do some research on the tire options since I know it's limited in 21s.

I vote number 2. They look more appropriate for a 7. Other ones looks more like 3 series wheels
