Drive (movie)

Did anyone go see it?

I did Saturday... Not very pleased.

- Horridly boring the first half
- Gosling probably had a single page of script, about 3 whole sentences the whole fucking movie
- Garbage ending

Also, it contained some of the most gruesome/grisly kill scenes I have ever seen in an IN-theater movie.

Decent taaaatss though in a couple scenes..

Not a very good flick..don't bother to see it in theaters.

It was "different" and subtlety bad-ass though. So I suppose that means it will win something.

Nope, but I saw Contagion. Was pretty good, but felt more like a documentary. Felt like they could have done more closing all of the characters stories.

i agree movie was crap, it got annoying after a while waiting for gosling to say something only to see him smile after what seemed like a super long period of silence...i watched Thor a few days before, knowing it would be crap, but i think i enjoyed it more than Drive

So what you all are saying is that I shouldn't ever trust Rotten Tomatoes again?

Can't say RT has ever done me wrong... I will probably wait till it comes out On-Demand.

It wasn't horrible, I guess I just had high expectations. I really liked Gosling in crazy stupid love. This time around, his role was obviously totally different as he played some next level man whore in Crazy Stupid Love.

Or maybe I just have horrible taste ?? Seems like the majority of movies that carry high/"Oscar worthy" film ratings are rarely good in my POV.

I effin loved it ....retro action style. I agree Gosling was quieter than expected, and hendricks barely played a role. But overall 9/10

it was a shit movie and i wasted 10$...

they paused for 10mintues between lines and it made the movie so boring leme give u an example:

person1: hello
(30seconds wait)
person2:....hi
(25second wait)
person2: r u thirsty?
(40second wait)
person1: yup

etc lol.. not to mention there might have been 1 10second cool car clip the whole movie

All these negative comments make me not want to live on this planet anymore. Since when does anyone complain about a film being gory? I bet you didnt expect that from an film like this and that makes you complain? Come on...
