Burnsey, riding review or impressions you care to share? State-side there are a few 2024 models available at a sizeable discount. I'd be interested in what you think of the Stelvio. I've never ridden a Guzi twin.

That is delivered, with 1 mile on the clock and not actually been out on it yet

I had a long test ride and upon return to the dealer, bought one immediately.

Great value compared to the GS rage and it just got me.

Thanks for the reply. I like the look of the 90-deg. "compact block" engine. Been reading up on the Stelvio. Reports are Guzi has added a counter balancer in the engine to quell vibration. I've had a flat-6 Honda for the past 26 years, so I'm accustomed to no engine vibrations. How smooth running is that compact block Guzi?

I hope you get out on it soon!

It runs superbly. Nice burble.

Does 'jump' on engaging first gear, but something you get used to very quickly.

I am also considering the 50th Anniversary edition of the Goldwing. It's hard to pass on another Honda flat-6.

Two massively different vehicles there - buy what appeals the most.

Agreed. Maybe an adventure bike would be a nice change, and better so if I keep the Valkyrie. But here in the States the riding is different. My brother has an Indian Chieftain and takes a fast and furious 10-day ride out west every year with a group of friends, which I'd like to partake in next year. The Honda is better suited for such endeavors. I do not have the tallest inseam of the male human species, the Guzi's 32-inch seat height, while not problematic for me would be less comfortable than the Honda's at 29 inches. But I will test fit both. The Guzi makes excellent power for a Liter-sized twin, quite impressive.

I am now on what is planned to be a 3 week, 7,000 mile motorcycle tour, on a Triumph Tiger Sport 660. It is an excellent ride for the tour. An extended high mileage tour can be enjoyably done with many motorcycles.

Cloudcroft, NM. Day 14 and 3,400 miles elapsed.

YES!!! And please provide a review. I moved from the idea of buying a new Goldwing to the K1600B. I did not like the Goldwing (and I have a 1999 flat-6 Valkyrie).

No sir... After two rides... I've been riding street for over 35 years and dirt for a few more... I don't ride dirt anymore, because I push too hard. I'm too old to crash!

Indeed, no sarcasm meant; I was referring to the bottom pic, post unloading from the trailer...

Funny you mention dirt riding. I live on 40 acres, most of which is woods with an elevation change from 860 to 1,200 feet above sea level (read as "a mountain"). This past summer I had to repair my bridge. The concrete guy who did most of the work has a son who works for him and rides hare scrambles competitively. They invited me to the last race of the season where he was positioned to win a championship. After the race, man did I get the bug to buy a dirt bike as I envision how easily I can make a nice track around my property without getting too much up the mountain. Like you I started riding dirt at age 13. Nearly 5 decades and double knee replacements later (from my misspent youth on dirt), yet I too am too old to crash; my wife depends on me being mobile - LOL.

However, with that new bike itch firmly in place, I just made a deal a on new left-over 2024 K1600B. It should arrive from the out-of-state dealer by January's end. Can't wait to post some pics. It will be my first Beamer.

Awesome brother! If I had my own property, I would definitely still have one. More pics of my set up with my son.
