What car is this?
Hi guys,
I was In Frankfurt today, and while in a taxy, a strangly "colored" car stopped next to me. I was wondering what car is underneath this stealth "mask", what do you think /know? My guess would be like Ferrari /Tesla... |

That's the best they could do to camouflage the wheels.

That's Xiaomi YU7 a lot of design clues from Ferrari Purosangue. Not sure why it's covered the car has been out for a while, must be testing in Europe to conquer local markets

If your are correct, it is also odd that they would have anything to hide given the high probability that every good idea they ever got was stolen from somewhere.

My guess is China is testing mules and preparing to enter Europe to flood the market with its offerings, but they don’t want to draw too much attention before damaging the European carmakers even more.

I think those hugely oversize rear brake calipers are stick ons pieces to fool public and they are half that size really and the tyre valve looks strange chopped off.

I'm heavily into aesthetics which is why I don't own a G series car. Brakes/wheels (as well as other vehicle aspects) have always been important to me. I find the brakes, along with nearly everything related to the current BMW lineup, seriously lacking in aesthetics. I owned a G82 when they first came out and my eyes were drawn to its worse aspects every time I walked out to the car. The look has never softened for me, it just gets worse in my eyes. Kills me too, because the G8x cars are such wonderful performers but I can't get past the looks. Obviously, some folks won't like what I've done aesthetic wise as far as my car goes, it's just personal opinion. But to me, a performance car needs big brakes, nice wheels, fat tires, etc. I never even liked the stock rear calipers on the F8x cars, so I put a Brembo GT kit F&R on my CS (I wish those were even bigger in the rear hah). There's simply no reason BMW has to put that ugly ass slider on the rear of their $100k cars, especially when the front caliper looks great.

That's a lot of door panel to go off, but not much else. Taking other clues into account I'm going to guess it's a BMW G82 M4.
