The tacky aero and splitters don’t belong on a Bentley. Nobody is tracking this thing.

I am interested to know which age group finds the styling of this car amazing and the group that finds it's tacky. My guess is that the sub 40 y/o crowd loves it and the 40+ y/o group doesn't.

51 and find it tacky as F The paint, wheels, and stance are spot on. The base car itself is a beauty though.

Sorry, Styles, I like you, but I don't understand the whole concept of Bentley. Ya, they're fast in a straight line but they overcompensate cuz it weighs like a yacht. I don't get it. They are the anti-Lotus.

It's all good. Did you read the article though? Subsequentl weight reduction and rear wheel drive. The appearance pkg gives it some unique spiciness. 🌶️

Is it? They are promising it'll be below 4400lbs (metric tons people), and by that I assume 4399, which is amazing for a Bently, no doubt, but it has a removed rear cabin to get there. An M5 with actual rear seats is what? The same?

The current M5 is 5251lbs. Removing the rear seat isn't going to drop 800lbs.

To be fair you have a bit of a thing for tacky tbh, love ya TX!

I am 49 and I like it, TBH i'd tone it down a TOUCH but it very, very, very much reminds me of both Jaguar and Holden Special Vehicle design cues.

"Tacky"... 🤔 That is definitely a stretch.
I put the "F" in Fashionable. 😁

Apologies, but I just can't stop seeing the Dodge Challenger. Sorry.

JFC, I must have meant the previous version. I've not been keeping up with the M5 obviously.

Anyway, 4400lbs ain't no dainty coupe...

Agreed, typically I think a track model of a heavy luxury car is pointless. But the weight is somehow impressive compared to modern cars.

I'd take the Continental Speed over this, all day everyday tbh. If I had the funds that is. Perfect daily and continental cruiser, and it looks way better IMO.

Well they did win Bathurst in this car’s predecessor a few years ago.

The whole point of the Bentley Continental is to zoom across the continent on first class. To cruise comfortably across Germany at 250kmh (150 freedom units per hour) for hours and hours, eating lunch in Zürich, Switzerland, and then have some fun in the twisties as you cross the Swiss Alps into Italy for your dinner and overnight stay in Milan.

Bentley in general is basically made for people that either want to drive themselves, and/or people who can't afford the RR offering.

I'm sub 40, I don't think "tacky" is the word I'd use. But it reminds me of a girl I dated that always looked way better without makeup than with her party-makeup.
I dislike the double lines sort of thing they've got going on. Double stacked CF-canards, followed by double stacked front-wing-CF-thingy, followed by the side skirts and the fat line with decals above it, followed by double fake slits on the rear bumper wings. It just looks copy-paste / lazy IMO, and it makes the car look taller.

I like the white "8" in the grill, and I think it looks fine head on from the front and back.

Re italics: ya, you pauper, can 'only' afford a Bentley and not a Rolls! LOL Tell me, Gordon, when does it all end, huh? How many yachts can you water-ski behind? How much is enough??!! LOL.

I can't possibly imagine enjoying the twisties in that behemoth lmao. I dunno, man, personably, I'd probably book a jet instead of driving hours upon hours in that thing.
