Those wheels gotta go but other than that, this sucker looks awesome. I LOVE the colors, and I'm not usually a fan of light interiors. I don't know what color the exterior is either...doesn't seem to say anywhere. Looks like Monte Carlo Blue but I'm not sure.

This is the car for people with money AND taste!
Many BMWs (esp. M3) on the street grossed me out because of countless brands of part they put on one car. Thank god Alpina doesn't sell parts but a whole car only. |

The sticker tells a very interesting story. Look at all the standard equipment on the B7 in the left hand column.
Some of those standard features are options on the regular 750. Let's see, there's: Convenience Package $1,700 Luxury Seating Package $2,800 Premium Sound Package $2,000 Active Roll Stabilization (ARS) $2,000 Head-up Display $1,300 Instrument panel with leather finish $1,200 Satellite radio $350 That's over $11,000 in options that are thrown in to the "standard" MSRP of $122,875 for the B7 SWB. The MSRP on the 750i similarly configured (without M or Individual package) would be $95,225. So, for $27,605 over the cost of a similarly configured 750i you get one of the rarest and most impressive looking cars on the road with a monster engine, modified suspension, 21" wheels, customized transmission, upgraded interior and a host of aerodynamic add-ons. Could the Alpina B7 SWB be the bargain of the BMW lineup? |

It's due to the new European pedestrian safety standards. You will see this on many new European cars. All of the new BMW models are going to look similar to this.

That's not entirely true. You can buy the wheels, spoilers, stickers and (for some models) suspension separately from Alpina. The drivetrain, exhaust and interior upgrades are exclusive to Alpina manufactured cars.
