Right now, on Monday at 7:10 PM, it's 40° F and raining lightly. Spring weather, you understand.

The average high for Thursday through next Monday, however, is projected to be 78° F with plenty of sun.

There's an overnight gale warning up here for the coastal waters, and a late-season nor'easter hitting us as well. We will be a few miles south of the rain/snow line, but they might see a foot of snow just 20-30 miles north of us.....

We actually had 2" of snow overnight, but much of it melted by sunrise thanks to the heavy/cold rains that followed the snowfall. The storm total rain was 1.25", if anyone was curious.....

Sunny, but 37F with a 15MPH wind, so it's cold outside. Second half of April and it's still cold. Although I see New England got snow, so I shouldn't complain.

A little different story an hour north of you. At least 6" of wet concrete.

It was near 28 at dusk, but the hotel room A/C fan didn't even move. They brought us some fan contraption that simply kept me awake all night. All the windows are screwed shut

Tonight we got a new room, and currently running at 17.5

Apparently these are good numbers. I don't know, I shouldn't need my phone to figure out if A/C is working

About 63 F, which I'm sure that cmyx6go would approve of.

As for needing a phone to figure it out, us arrogant Americans just need to get with the program and make the switch to metric already. I lived through Canada's switch in the 1970's, and don't see why we can't at least go metric for temperatures.....

Ironically, most thermostats I've seen in Canada are in fahrenheit. Some of the newfangled digital ones made the switch to celcius.

I took this picture at a Canadian hotel back in 2004:

For comparison, here is the same model thermostat in imperial units from my old office also in 2004:

On the weather topic, we've got a FROST ADVISORY up for tonight here!!!!!

Maybe it's just a coincidence then with the C & F thermostats. All of them in the office are F and the house had F.

We're hopefully done with single digit temps here. The wind is still cold as heck though. It's predicted to be 24C for Sunday.

Yesterday was nice and warm and not too windy. Today was the same except for the 25-35MPH winds. Tomorrow we start a slide back to late winter/early springs temps with some nasty T-storms coming through, then 50s in the day and 30's at night for the first half of the week. This hot/cold weather pattern is when it gets really interesting to live here in the Midwest. I spend a lot of time looking at weather radar images.

Yesterday was a sneak peek of Summer with a high of 80 and tons of sun. Beautiful day for a drive. Sadly today its creeping back down into the 50's and low 60's with the rest of the week getting colder.
