2024 Lexus GX
I must say... Impressive. Especially with this particular color combo and setup!

I was getting the 4 year itch on my 2019 F150 and was thinking on an upgrade... But, after hearing a few month back about the new Lexus SUV offering, I think I'll hold off for now.
I don't need the towing capacity of the F150 anymore, and as long as the Lexus can tow a small 18' lightweight camper and tow a Tractor supply utility trailer to the town dump, I'm good... Heck, take the wife's X5 for dump runs... Yea, right.... Divorce court if I do that...

I am also a fan, although I’m angling for the Land Cruiser version. I’m #1 at both my local dealers.

Like it. 4Runner shouldn't be far behind, I have been waiting for it.
GX and 4Runner are on the consideration list for next vehicle. |

From themselves?
Go back and look at the 60 series Land Cruiser. I love the throw back style.

This thing in Overtrail spec as pictured will be over $80K. But then again my 21 Wrangler JLUR was $60K. So nothing surprises me anymore on car prices.

I would be able to stomach paying $60k for a Lexus SUV , but a Jeep ...... i don't know. And $80k is just ridiculous. Car manufacturers are pricing cars like everyone is a millionaire. It seems like just 10 to 15 years ago , $40k to $50k got you into the luxury / upper end segment of vehicles |

I've said it 50 times, this bs greed is why the AVERAGE car payment in the US is over $700. This is just nuts. No wonder everyone is in debt & can't save $.

Looks very nice inside and out. But I personally can't imagine spending that much on a SUV unless it's M///, or AMG. Last edited by TXSTYLE; 10-08-2023 at 06:27 PM.. |

I would get the Overtrail version in case I ran over a curb at Saks.

Me thinks this will sell... Well.
It's a cross between a G Wagon and Range Rover. Both are Suburban Icons. |

That top spec is decent enough (very muscular looking, which is a plus), but the majority of them roaming around the streets will not look at all like that. I'm also willing to bet the top spec will be far more than $80k, when considering the pricing trend of vehicles of late; a fully loaded Wrangler is 100k OTD.
