No new Gas 7 Series in Germany & other oddities…..

Please forgive me if this has been discussed here before, as I am a fairly new member here and my last BMW was in 1995. I live in Southern California and now have a new I7 on order

Just for fun, I visited the BMW German market website: BMW.DE. While navigating through the German language as best I could, I could not find that ANY gas powered 7 series was available over there. I think the largest gas powered sedan was a 5 series.

In addition, while using their “Konfigurator” there to build a new I7, it does not appear that the B & W “Diamond” audio system is available there in any I7, while it is an option in any I7 in the USA.

Anyway, I found these things interesting and thought others here might as well.

I just checked and there is a diesel 7 series and 2 plugin hybrids. Also I7 have B&W diamon available in configurator

Did you check the site for Poland or Germany?

Hi!
Yes, in Germany (Europe) we don't have ICE G70s except the 740d diesel, plus 2 plugins and the 3 i7 variants.
The German configurator sometimes is strange.
Some weeks ago the crystal clarity applications and the Pano Sky Lounge weren't available in the configurator but my dealer assured me that this had to be a mistake as there never were supply bottlenecks or whatsoever.

Now all the "parts" are available in the configurator again, so is the B&W diamond system, you just have to scroll almost all the way down to find it

So no "oddities" here, just the strange non-ICE politics
