Very nice! Enjoy it! Looks darker than Tanzanite looks on the BMW site.

Thank you!

It's a dark blue. But it should be more blue with more light... will post a new picture, as soon as the sun comes back. Hopefully next week...

No. Did nothing and not planning anything.

Perhaps well polished by the dealer!

Yea. Rain drops are so well rounded on the paint that I thought its because of ceramic coating but yea could be whatever dealer did before delivery

Congratulations!

I agree that the blue color in your photos appears darker -- even sensuously darker -- than those shown on the website. I was considering the Aventurin Red Metallic, but I'll certainly reconsider the Tanzanite Blue II Metallic. It definitely exudes a mesmerizing aesthetic -- simply, it looks great! The Grail Knight would say, "You chose wisely." ;-)

I was a great fan of Azurite which was Azurite "Black" but with deep blue in it. I now have Carbon Black and could not be more pleased. It is very close to Azurite and nothing like a truly black car. But my advice is always see the color in person, not on a website, even if on another model, and always pick your color in daylight. When I have seen Tanzanite in person it is a very strong blue, much bluer to my eye than the OPs posyed images. The way a photo gets captured can be misleading. In no way am I suggested OP was misleading and his car is stunning but still, have a look in person. I had a 7 series in the 1990s that I selected at night, outdoors under very strong artifical light and in natural light it had tinges of green in the color (I don't remember which it was) that I really didn't like and my wife absolutely hated.
