Bimmerpost iOS app notifications?

Does the iPhone app support notifications? Under the app settings I can see notifications are present but it's currently inactive.

How can I turn this on?

In the app menu, go to settings and you have to turn on push notifications. Then on your iphone settings, turn on the notifications.

Yeah, by just turning those toggles to green, it's on.
Now check the iphone settings.

I do definitely do not have Bimmerpost in my app list under notifications

I do however have Binmerpost listed as an app in the Settings menu, when I go into the settings only the following toggles are available (refer to attachment), on all other apps that have notifications there will be a Notifications menu link which is not visible for this app.

Under settings, it should be in your Notification Center. If not, then all I can suggest is you reinstall the app. Sorry!

BUMP!

Anybody figured this out?! I can't enable the "INACTIVE" sign in the app's settings...

It shouldn't be this difficult..

I'm exactly experiencing vimy's situation.

Delete the app and then install the new version

I deleted the app, waited several days as was mentioned in another thread, restarted my device and then reinstalled. Same issue. Just as has been stated here, I see INACTIVE and Bimmerpost is not in the Notifications section of Settings.

I'm on an iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 8.1.3 and 3.8.0 of the BimmerPost app.

What setup do others have? Maybe we can collectively help figure out what is causing this.

You need to be on version 3.8.9

Well that would do it! I deleted and redownloaded and for some reason I still didn't get 3.8.9. I just deleted and downloaded again and I have it now and it says ACTIVE.

Thanks.

I am.

I've uninstalled the app, will re install in a few days.

Bimmerpost won't even show up under the notifications section in settings. Latest iOS and latest version of the app.
