Been meaning to post this up for a while, but haven't managed to find the time until now. Introducing my new (to me) car, a '17 plate 730d m sport in Individual San Marino Blue with Piano Black and Ivory interior.

This car replaced my '07 E92 330i m sport in Le Mans Blue (can you tell I like blue cars..?!?), which I owned for the last 8 years until some little sh*t wrote it off by crashing a stolen motorbike into it....!!!!

As you can imagine, for me, going from a '2007 3 series to a 2017 7 series is like stepping into the starship Enterprise...!! The technology in these cars is phenomenal!!

I've had the car for about 3 months now and have to say it's fantastic. Everything I had expected and loads more...!

I will try and dig the spec out and post it up - got a massive print out of the features but need to discern what is an optional extra and what is just standard.

Looks like the photo uploads from my phone are poor quality - any tips on how to get better quality photos up?

Its really nice seeing some fellow brits enjoying the 7 series as a personal car rather than it being used as a limo!

There are a few of us. Definitely used as a Limo, as I spend about 95% of the time in mine without any passengers, which does seem a bit of a waste....

Definitely not a limo for me. Although my wife does prefer sitting in the back on longer journeys!!

My only regret is I don't drive it as much as I would want. Probably looking at ~4,000 miles per year...!!

Mine’s not a limo either - it’s my daily driver to get to work and back and the odd business trip. Journey is 90% motorway, so perfect car for doing that!! However, my wife sits in the front, so back has only been used a couple of times since new!

Happy to oblige.

What is the quality of the previous photos like? They were only uploads from my phone so concerned they might be a bit poor?

Mine is a daily driver too, it’s done 27k miles in the last year and 48k miles in total, only had it for 22 months. I was going to go for a 740d due to the mileage I do (had a 535d before), but changed my mind at the very last minute when I spotted a pre registered 750i in a great spec (£30k options). It’s been cheaper to run than I expected, it can do 40mpg on the motorway as long as you don’t go over 80mph and has averaged about 32mpg since new (calculated, computer is pretty optimistic).

I’ve got 2 teenage boys who used to argue about who sat in the front, now they argue about who’s turn it is to go in the back. With the electric reclining seats plus massage and rear entertainment, I can’t really blame them.
