2018 G11 740i Tuning

Hey guys, long time reader, first time poster. I live in Germany currently and am educating myself on engine modifications.

I'm looking to get a few more HP out of my 740 and am looking hard at the BM3. From all the forum reading, it appears a full tune is "better" than a piggyback setup so that is the direction I am leaning.

Anyone else out there tuning their 7 series?

BM3 is the way to go, I had it on my M4,M5,M6 since before the official realease in 2016/2017 and been perfect. Do a stage 2 and remove cats from your car.

Sounds good. I'll go with BM3 as planned.

I have another question. Can the BMW dealerships detect the boost/tune through their FOB scanners when I take the vehicle in for maintenance, even if unrelated to any engine issue?

Since you are based in Germany I recommend a i-tronic module from Mosselman in Holland. https://www.mosselmanturbo.com/en/bm...-g11-g12-326hp

It supposed to be untraceable for BMW.

I have my own G11 750i remapped by them; no single issue what so ever.
