Racing a Mustang....

Well this post would seem like it belongs on the M5 board.... but here we go..

I was coming home from a dinner with my wife. Driving along a quiet industrial area, a brand new Mustang GT (stick shift) comes to my side and begins to do burn outs.... My wife smiles and she's discussing how the guy thinks we're in my M5. I ignore him and we come to a light. When it turns green, he rips out of the gate. I wasn't planning on racing, but after a second or so- - I floor it in "Normal" mode and I catch up and pass him in about 200 yards. At the next light, I hit the Sport plus mode and slide it into DS mode. Turns green and I SMOKE him by 4-5 car lengths. He actually couldnt keep up for 250 yards. I let off and he goes by and gives the thumbs up....

I am amazed of the low end torque this car puts down... And I am still taking it easy as I have yet to cross the 2000km/1200mi break-in point....
