I have a 2007 BMW 750LI that won't start with push start after I accidentally connect jump cable incorrectly and since then the car won't start. I checked all fuse and replace all bad fuse. I was able to start the car by jumping from the ignition wire on the starter and a power lead, so it seems I'm missing a relay for KL50 which I can't find.
As you can see KL50L not sending a signal From the pictures below. Brake switch and start switch is working from pic when I try to start.. I checked 3 fuse location, in the trunk on the right rear, inside the car behind the glove box, and under the hood under the right cabin filter. All fuse looks good. I also changed the 2 relay which sits beside the battery in the truck and still no luck.. Starter working fine.. if I connect a wire to the ignition wire on the starter, connect a power lead and touch them while pressing the button to start the car will start.. I changed the 3 parts attached as well. |

Assuming you were trying to jump start because of a flat battery, have you resolved that, and if so what voltage do you get across the battery. Should be at least 12.6v, anything lower needs charging and less than 12.2v and not charging above that, is scrap.
After charging, you need to put a load across for a couple of mins, to take away any residual charge, so you get a true view. At Jaguar, they used to put a 55w bulb across for 2 mins. The XJ was very temperamental around battery voltage, and dropping below 12.4v used to unleash a barrage of messages, ABS fail, ASC fail etc
