Do you think there will be an M7? Yes or No?
The rumors on whether or not there will be an M7 keep on sprouting out........and a new piece on the rumorfill is resurfacing.
You have one rumor that says there will be an M7: Quote:

So anyways what do guys think? If ever an M7 will come out, what engine will it use? Many say that it might use a V8 Twin turbo. Question is: Would you trade the refinement and exhaust note of a V12 (760Li M-Sport) for a V8 one? *Similar to the A8L W12 vs S8 argument" |

BMW has been steadfast in the no M7 even for this chassis. There will be a new B7 and supposedly was told by the BMW NA head there will indeed be a M Performance model, supposedly a limited edition M770i announced for summer time.

Nah. There's no reason for one really. I think they'll continue with the Alpina relationship to field the next super-sport B7.

No one know for sure about the engine of the M770 but the word is extremely limited production to 1 per dealer. So it will definitely be above the 760 M Sport. Higher tune and suspension to compete with cars like the S8plus and the S63/S65

I don't really see the point of a full M car. The point of this car is to be comfortable and have the luxury. Putting in a M DCT and M suspension in the car will make the car a tougher sale in my opinion. It won't be as smooth as a ride anymore, even in full comfort settings.
I completely understand wanting more straight line speed, but the alpina or 760/770 should suffice for that. |
