the ones that do look after them... its a sight to see. my friends german shepherd is better behaved and smarter than most kids and has zero stink.
Spot on. I have had & traned a lot of dogs in my life. Whenever I see these dogs that run wild it pisses me off. Then the owners will just say bs like "Oh, that's just Fido!" No, it's you being a lazy moron ahole that should not be allowed to have a pet or kids.GFY

At least a dog gives a crap about you and may be able to protect you.

Yep, upkeep. When ours dies, we're not getting anymore
Manure stains unless you use TP on your dog's butt which don't think anybody does, so whenever they sit, it could be nasty as they butt-imprint all over the place.

I never said anything about cats. *shrug*

Anyway, how did a thread about C8 turn into one about K9? LOL.

Because dog owners = vegans = lgbqtrslmnop

Certain groups feel a need to make everything about what’s super important to them.

Better animals than American politics these O/T rambles seem to always morph into.

Agreed on dogs, they need a bath if they stink. It's night and day before/after...

Cat litter stinks but the cats themselves seem to get a pass unless you're allergic.

As for the C8, I still don't get the appeal.

Well at least this thread is relevant since the C8 Z06 will be an overhyped dog.

Garage List
C8 and G8x share the commonality of being significantly more capable but far less aesthetically pleasing than the previous of generation, not to mention the third pedal delete debacle.

C8Z 0-60 is actually 2.6
Likely will be quicker once they hit the streets.

Incorrect. The base C8 is about 2.8. you really think the Z won't be much better?🤣🤣🤣

Besides the fact that the 0-60 time is totally LC and traction dependent and therefore stupid and irrelevant, the 2.8 value you mention is with 1 ft rollout: https://www.caranddriver.com/chevrolet/corvette

60-130, 1/4 mile time and trap speed matter much more: we will see what Z06 can do. I expect a 1/4 mile time around 10.6 sec at 138 mph.

I just can't wait to hear one. If I'm luck enough to get one some day, can't wait to do some exhaust work and just listen to that bitch scream up to 9000 RPM. It will never be the fastest thing on the streets, and I will be totally ok with that.

The silver on red model in the Top Gear video looks quite good.

Just remember, that guy isn't impressed unless it is straight-line Tesla-fast. He's got plenty of posts trying to knock this car because he doesn't understand a NA mid-engined car that is intended to perform on a track with turns. All he understand is straight-line.

No the C8 and Z06 is designed to be a garage queen as with 99% other Corvettes ever produced.

Chevy made it for one reason....... they were loosing market relevance.

What are you talking about? For the first time with the C8 it's created a cross generational conversation with "younger" generations. According to Chevy the new generation has also created a bigger draw to higher income earners. Yet despite all this increase the corvette still draws a more "seasoned" buyer that's looking for the exotic appearance and not the exotic price. I give Chevy credit for this. Yet tell since you're an expert, would you rather have a ZL1-1LE or a C8..... I mean after all the ZL1-1LE is much more well rounded and "purpose built" and stomps the C8s dick in the sand while roll racing and off the dig.

People buy the C8 for looks, not for what it can or can't do..... not sure why people get so butt hurt at this factual observation.

I just laugh at all the comments pumping up it's performance when all the data out is identical to how dodge claimed cars like my Demon can run a 9.56 from the factory. Yet th planet's were perfectly aligned that day and while yes it can run a 9 sec 1/4 it's work to learn the car to get it to that point.

Yawn, roll/dig racing...is it 2010. Do people actually waste their time doing that anymore. Buying a 1LE to go roll racing, lol.

Plaid wins.

Is that before or after the brakes light on fire? I bought one and flipped it for $30k..... because the cars so o amazing many people are doing the exact same thing.

It's a novelty that folks are using for 👍 on YouTube.

I respect speed to much to let a computer literally do all the work.
