What a concept.
Go ICE-free my man, then come back and talk to me. LOL

I was cutting grass with a GE Electrak in 1973. Were you even born then?
I bet you had an orange extension cord

His cousin's family died in a house fire so he was always worried. I was the one who paid the price though using inferiir tools, taking twice as long to do chores, etc. Electric chainsaw, mower, blower etc etc. Mind numbing.
The GE Electrak was far superior to ICE-powered lawn tractors of the day. Mower deck was out front (because it had electric driven blades) so you could cut under bushes and flip the deck up for easy cleaning and sharpening. It cut over 3 acres on a full charge. It had so much torque it would pull tree stumps, plow snow, and ground-contact till a small garden. The electric PTO tools were a chainsaw, small tiller, driveway broom, welder, and weed eater.

I'd match it up to any ICE-powered yard tractor available now.

Tesla is now losing money at the rate of $1 billion a year. http://money.cnn.com/2017/05/03/tech...article_footer

Obviously, this is not sustainable.

I continue to believe Tesla will go under or be acquired by an automobile manufacturer which wants to get a head start into electrics. The leading acquisition candidates would be VW Group and Hyundai-Kia.

Amazon rarely turns a profit. I guess they're next in line for a takeover.

Uh, sure. $2.4B in net income last year and they increased their cash by $3.4B.

They "lost" $300M in 2015 while increasing their cash reserves by $5.9B.

Outside of Apple or an oil company, there aren't any real acquisition candidates.

Maybe a large automaker if they wanted. I'm guessing he pumps it up as much as possible, sells to apple just before the collapse, and moves on to something else.

There are a lot of other things going on, they recently acquired the rooftop solar tiles company and are investing in storage technology. Financing for future investment/technology is the corporate way.

Yep. Tesla's losing money because it's still building. Like Amazon.
