Bluetooth Autoskipping Songs from my iPhone
Hi there!
So this is our third BMW in the last year. We had an F80, still have the x6 msport and now picked up a 740i. Reason I mention the other cars, we haven’t had this issue before so I have no clue how to resolve. When our phones are connected via Bluetooth and we’re streaming music, if the phone gets remotely close to the dashboard or steering wheel the system will chirp and change songs automatically and needless to say it’s driving me crazy. How do I shut this off?? Is this a new feature to 2019 models?! Friend got a new 5 and it does the same thing. |

Hi,
Sounds like you may be triggering the gesture control. Perhaps a way to prove this is to switch to radio and move your iPhone towards the dash/steering wheel as you would when streaming, and see if the radio changes channel. It changes up in single increments if that helps. Thanks Mark.
