Road noise with 20" wheels

I just picked up a 2018 750 xi with M package wheels and breaks. Car has 9000 miles on it. Any way....there's a lot of road noise.
Maybe tires have too much air in them? They are at 36 lbs

Check the recommended pressure on the drivers side door sill. However, 36 is not terribly high, and with 20" wheels you do not want to underinflate either. Assume you have RFTs. It may be that 20" RFTs are just noisy.

I have 20" in msport...no road noise here. What brand tire u have? Mine came with Pirelli RFTs

i think the car will have more road noise for winter tires... check it if they're winters...
Tire Type. All tire types make some noise. Winter tires (especially studded) and off-road car tires sound loud, due to their tread pattern goals. Also, the run-flat tires will be noisier, as they have stiffer sidewalls.

I have the same Good years on my 540 and they are terrible, noisiest tire I've had so far. I have the staggered set up and rec. pressure is 36 fronts, 44 back.
