I had a set of Michel PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ tires on my last car (Audi A8L) and loved them. They were great in the summer and very good in the winter.

I live in Atlanta. It rarely snows here. What would be a great tire for the southeastern US if I want to ditch my 760 RFs?

I'm in TX, I went with Michelin PS4S Summer tire. It's been a. Great tire so far. Quieter, stickier, and handles better.

Michelin Pilot Sports A/S 3, replaced my OEMs about 200 miles into the car. Good price from TireRack, but a but less supple when driving over rough road. Definitely grips in cold weather and gives me the sense they'll be decent on snow.

Gas mileage might be affected however. Keeping an eye on that.

I have a lease. Will I have to buy run flats before I turn in my lease?

You do and has to be a BMW approved brand tire.

You can keep your old set and swap them back before lease end or buy a new set on eBay. They sell so cheap for the run flats. Usually half price of tire shop or dealer.

My RF tires are at 4mm now. I guess I should replace then now, and then put them back on for the lease turn in? Will I be able to get 17000 miles on the Michelins non run flats?

Should be able to. I believe they are warrantied to 30K-50k miles depending on the tire.

So what’s difference with Michelin PS4S and Michelin AS3+? It snows rarely in Atlanta, but rains a lot and temps can get into the 30’s, 40’s. Which tire is better?

One is a summer tire and the other is all season. I'd say for go A/S in GA.

The AS3+ Michelins are very good, although we have been sheltering in place for weeks so I can’t say that I have driven extensively on them yet.
