Door sticks in cold weather

Has anyone had a problem with their doors sticking in cold weather?

It feels like it's frozen shut. I can pull hard enough to open it, but then it won't latch shut. I have to physically hold it closed and lock it, which keeps it shut.

After a half-hour drive to the office, it's working fine again.

This is the rear driver-side door.

My Front Driver door was frozen solid a couple of days ago, it was -2 degrees C here then. I pulled the door hard and eventually it opened but the door handle was at the extreme point for a while. Seemed to close properly after that with the soft close system.

My passenger side mirror also stayed frozen for a while and would not pop out until I pressed the mirror button inside.

I'm wondering if this is normal or due to aging seals, mine is 2016 model.

My 2019 drivers door was frozen to the rubber last week, and boot (trunk) a few days before that. If it happens again I’ll spray the rubber with some lubricant. It used to happen on my old Range Rover, and I put it down to the type of rubber and me washing the car to often in the winter.

Happened to me as well on my E90, used some lubricant WD40 or similar on the lock/handle and sprayed the rubber parts with silicone, it was fine for the whole winter afterwards.
