Stealth wrap in 4 more sleeps!
Santa lives! At least this week for me, cause I can’t wait for my Black i7 to return all matted out with STEK Dynomatte. Went back and forth between XPEL, STEK and Llumar but ended up going with STEK for extra hydrophobic layer and apparently no orange peel unlike some PPF films.
Will share some pics as soon as it’s finished Thursday. A couple of other mods too. |

You better post pics now that you’ve said that cause I really debated about getting oxide grey and hope I don’t regret it! Yours will look amazing I’m sure.

Crisp you’re the reason I’m doing this from you supplying such great pics of your Batmobile. Just hope the STEK comes out as good. I loved the matte dark grey but paying 5k for paint then another 6k for ppf to protect fragile frozen seemed wasteful when you can get close with just a film.

Never posted pics here before so hopefully this works. Couldn’t be happier with the results. Changes the car completely. Took off badges in rear, cleaner look. 12.5mm spacers all around make the wheels more flush, could’ve gone a little thicker but these look OEM. Bought glossy black adhesive film and had my guy apply on side markers then matte ppf over those. Didn’t realize fronts have orange lights so disconnected them. No warning lights so that’s good.
Also bought matte adhesive roll on Amazon and cut to the size of the labels on visors to cover the ugly yellow warnings. Looks way better. Could’ve steamed it or used isopropyl to remove but was afraid to damage the alcantara. Custom wheels might be next on the agenda. Looked into side skirts and splitters but seems like i7 not available yet? Might be nowhere to screw onto underneath? |
