7 Series HUD Change
Hi, just like to find out about the HUD changes to the BMW range in the UK. From what I understand, March 2011 vehicles and onwards have full colour HUD. Would a 7 Series Built in December 2010 benefit from this too or just miss out?
The car in question, according to its VIN, was built in 2010/12 even though the DVLA website states a 2011 manufacture year. It was only registered in Mid November 2011 and is loaded with options, I'm thinking an ex-demonstrator as it has done less than 20 miles. Why would it have been built so long ago and just left? Thanks peeps |

Color HUD didn't get added to the 7er until March 2011 production. Anything built before 1 March 2011 will have the old HUD (which is still pretty cool -- just not full color).

The Pre-March 2011 HUD has orange, yellow, green and red colors.
