I got that too. It was up there for one of my concerns, even though I have extended warranty. Good to see them stand solidly behind their product. Makes me love my car more

Well, that's great news. Hopefully my car falls within that category. It's waiting (10 more days) for a loaner to become available for me to bring mine in for new front air springs, which fortunately were covered under warranty, which has now expired. It took over a month to get them shipped in.

I wonder if we’ll get this in the U.K. Probably contributes to the nearly $3000 a year they want to extend the warranty.

Hopefully this applies to their Canadian customers too! This was the only part of my car that I was worried about because of all the potholes here.

My 730d LCI front left strut developed some sort of leak around a month after delivery. Not sure if we will get it in Australia, it always bugged me that Australia always misses out on many recalls and extended warranties.

Ouch... I was wondering how much an extended warranty was. Mine is going to be out of warranty at the end of December. Makes you wonder if its a better idea to just bank the £250 / month into a separate pot.

You'd like to think that you'd get more than 3 years of life out of the critical components in the car.

Important to keep servicing at main dealer in this scenario, as can then get goodwill contributions towards any issues that shouldn’t have happened. Dealers have quite a bit of flex, and can decide locally to give 0%, 20%, 50% or 100% contribution - normally determined how you behave towards them. A guns blazing, ranting customer will get much less support than a reasonable, level headed approach. This is UK, so interested how markets differ.

the extended warranty covers the struts, but does not include the failure-prone air pumps that pressurize the struts.

Does anyone have the detailed bulletin for this extended warranty campaign? I would like to know what error codes / conditions are covered. Just found the driver rear of my G12 750i obviously deflated after 70K trouble-free miles.

Many thanks!

EDIT

ISTA testing shows low pressure on the back axle. Interestingly the back left is visually much lower down but the pressure readings are lower on the opposite (right) side?

Active front grills/lower air flaps are covered for 10yrs/192k km

I am not on this fourm a whole lot..but I have a great goodwill story to share on my car which I will do at some point. Basicially due to some ongoing AC issues it was determined evaporator was bad, and I had only 48,000 miles on the car. Since I always have car serviced at dealer they covered 100% - a $6,458 charge otherwise.
