You can get salmonella from everyday foods. There's a risk associated with everything and obviously I'm not gonna dunk my bare feet into any pool of water with fish in it. The place was a really nice onsen so it was a calculated risk.

i did the fish pedi while i was in Thailand, it tickled fiercely, but i manned up and kept a straight face.

I know exactly what you mean. I'm deathly ticklish on the bottom of my feet and to make matters worse, the fish pedi pool is right in a middle of a busy onsen with hunnies everywhere. Pressure was high to not act a fool.
