G12 Aux battery - cannot replace due to access issues

Hello
Can you guys please help me in changing th Aux battery in G12.
I have ordered the correct battery - But i am unable to remove the old battery.

The access seems to be blocked by the sway bar. I have atatched the photo. I have loosened the battery lock nut (which is not visible in the photo)

Can you please check the TIS and guide me in this process.
Thank you

Thank you.
I am reading from phone - so may be I am not understanding-

1. I have to remove strut.
2. I have to remove both vipers (is this necessary?)

And to change battery its a LOT of work. I am surprised.

Ok - Its quite different from Version1 or Version2 as above.
My strut seems to go from left to right without any connection to the body.
Its a 750Li.

Also - The strut nuts seem to be special nuts. They seem to be hex nuts.

To remove the wipers - is to remove the rubber flap? This seems to be attached(bonded to glass).
Confused.

Zooming in version 1 - I may have misjudged. The screeenshot from your phone isnt clear - But If i discount the arrows, mine one looks like version 1.

So, I will try version 1 method.
Any special tools needed(it mentions special tool to remove wipers) and this hex nut seems to stump me.

You don't need any special tool for wiper blade, you have just to pulling out, it look complicated but it's easy to replace this battery and it's gonna take up to 30 minutes

I have 750 and I think it's version 2
But when you will remove cowl panel cover then you will see what to do😉

Which battery did you end up buying as the replacement? I can't find anything online that's an identical replacement.

This does not relate to any access issues you are having, but I notice in your picture, you have the Neg/Pos terminals already disconnected. I would recommend you wrap the negative terminal in a shop rag and secure with a rubber band to prevent any arcing during the rest of the procedure.
