New owner 2019 750Li

Hello everyone. I just purchased a 2019 750i (as I understand it it is actually 750Li since this is the long wheel base version) and found this forum while researching online to learn about the car. I am sure that over the next few weeks, as I become more familiar with the car, I will be by here many times to ask questions but for now I just wanted to stop by, introduce myself and say hi.

One feature I do not believe this car has is remote start (from the key fob). Doing some searching online it seems like I should be able to activate the feature in the ConnectedDrive store from the MyBMW app. Unfortunately, I do not see anywhere in the app (or the web site) that specifically lists that option as available for my car. However, in this document from BMW it states that remote start is available for "most" 2019 and newer vehicles. I realize that "most" is not all and mine may be one that is left out but it seems inconceivable to me that a vehicle with an original sticker price of nearly $120k would not have such a simple feature.

Can anyone confirm (from the feature list I provided above) whether remote start could be activated on this car or not?

So the remote start has to be optioned from the factory. Some have it, and some do not. You can add it from Bimmertech for about 600$ i believe. You likely have the climate control/prep function you can still use to precondition the cabin from the connected drive app, but to get full remote start, you will need to add it through a third party. I don't find the pre-condition to be that useful, but i also haven't tested it that much as I have only had my 19 750Li for a few months and it doesn't get that cold here. I am in the same boat as you and did the research and thats what i came up with. Would love to be wrong, but i don't think i am.
