Car can be lowered as much as you like but my suggestion is a 2cm drop as that is optimum for looks and keeping the ride comfort. Price for remote lowering is 200eur.

My setup is -
  • F- 670mm and R- 660mm / Comfort
  • F- 645mm and 640mm / Sport

Strongly recommends that the sport is not for jumping on curbs or dynamic rides on road slowdowns

These are the initial values after measuring on the wheels at the moment, a few different trials and settings from which the current one suits me best ...

Of course, we start the sessions with a full car scan of all possible errors. (Complete Identification)

If you don't understand this manual, don't go for it or you'll screw it up

Measuring the lower edge of the rim with the upper edge of the wheel arch, we give the measure in millimeters.

68cm equals 680mm + the value by which we want the car to lower 20mm = 700mm

According to your preferences and needs

Hey I already have links installed. The car drives lowered but it raises back up high when in park.
I wanna have it lowered another inch and code it to sit low when in park.

I assume you refer to ABL action in ISTA? If yes, then that is correct behavior. Most ABL's are greyed out when vehicle is not connected as they require connection. Once the car is properly connected and identified then it will become usable.

Stock ride height is what you end up after entering correct rim size and current height into ISTA process and the car does the corrections. Doesn't seems to be one single set value.

Yes. But I've got right now different numbers on my front left and right sides. After replacement Shock Absorber on left side. So I want to know stock numbers to use them.

Its been a while since I have used a computer to program anything up on a BMW, but I used code/program the car with esys I would do it with the car on. But I think from what I am reading ISTA+ is done with the car off? And I need a charger now? Any suggestions for a charger to buy?

Also I have a 2021 745e so technically I can have it plugged into the wall charger? Not sure if this helps

With ISTA, you can also do most service functions with engine running. If ISTA requires change of state, then it will do so automatically by issuing a command to the car.

Standard charger wont be able to keep up with power demands of G11. You will need a power supply and I would recommend at least a 70 amp one. I have seen power draw of up to 57A when programming my fully loaded G11. The power supply's are very expensive from established manufacturers like Exide, Deutronic, CTek and so on. You can also build one yourself from server PSU if you feel adventurous or buy a cheap but good and proven one like MST-80/90+ from AliExpress for as low as €350.

Low and high voltage system are isolated as far as I know so plugging in your hybrid charger wont help you.

wow I read this a little late. I ended up using a CTEK 7200 that only had 7 amps. I guess I got lucky because it took me about 3 hours to dial in the exact height I wanted. Welp I guess I wont be using ISTA again without a power supply. Thanks for the warning tho.

By the way, the reason for adding height to the reading is that the "altered information makes the suspension computer think the car is sitting higher than it is which has the effect of lowering the car"

Hello guys,

My G11 is already lowered with ISTA+.

But my question is if anyone has found the coding for height in sport mode?
My car lowers itself about 10 mm in sport mode. I would be stoked if it was possible to code it to lower about 20mm instead. So I can go low on demand..

Anyone with ideas?

There is a height offset in Sport mode, we just need to find it.
