750i N63B44O2 coolant leak, what about N63B44T3?
At ca. 135´000 km my 2016 G11 750i xDrive started experiencing a coolant leak.
Problem identified as shown in picture. BMW did not allow to just substitute the leaking rubber hose and instead requires a significant upgrade with steal pipes (wise...) as in the last picture. The cost around EUR 2700 (covered by warranty in my case). Questions: 1) anybody else had this issue on this engine? 2) is the upgrade of the coolant piping implemented in the next generation engine? (G11 engine N63B44T3)? I.e. the "restyling" version of G11. |

Wow, that steel hose replacement looks great. Glad your cost was covered too. I have an extended warranty on my G12 16', but mileage is only at 17k (got her at 13k w\ extended warranty in summer of last year). I haven't had any leaks on the old rubber ones yet, and changed out the coolant myself a few months ago. I sort of wish a coolant leak would happen though so I can upgrade to those new steel ones lol

There was a recall in the US to replace the hoses with stainless steel, so yes, that is a known issue.
