I know there is a lot of hate for the new grill, but this B7 looks great! It commands a presence on the road....Looks great to me!

I don't feel like Alpina offers enough for U.S. customers. The tuning is nice, but they should be offering more options, especially on the interior to differentiate the Alpina more from a typical 7 series. It would obviously come with a cost, but at least give people the option, like they do in Germany.

This all being said, it is very possibly Alpina can't do this because of U.S. restrictions.

Anyone know the B7 price point?

Might be a good move when the F90 gets boring if that's possible.

That grille......I just can't get past it. It's like looking at an absolutely stunning woman that has abnormally large buck teeth.

I know. Maybe they'll grow on us - no pun intended.

I don't care what the grill looks like on the B7, that is one bad ass car. My brother has had quite a few, most recent is a 2019. It's a refined beast. It's a freakin rocket ship - it just takes off.

"The 2020 Alpina B7 is here and it may have just beaten the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat as the world's fastest sedan.

We don't have an official confirmation yet as the B7 just released last week and nobody has gone out on the track to test it, but according to Alpina, the B7 has a top speed of 205 mph while the Hellcat can only manage 204 mph." - Hotcars.com

https://www.hotcars.com/2020-alpina-b7-faster-hellcat/

"Admittedly, it isn't the fastest sedan to 60 mph. That designation is reserved for the Tesla Model S P100D. However, the 2020 ALPINA B7 now has a top speed of 205 mph, which obliterates the Model S' and even just slightly edges out the 707 hp Dodge Charger Hellcat's 204 mph. Admittedly, it will likely take the B7 a bit longer to reach 205 mph than it takes the Hellcat to reach 204 mph, but it still wins the numbers-bragging-rights game - BMWblog.com

On the grill: it is a done deal so complaining will not cause BMW to redesign it. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy a car they don't like. IMHO, there are enough pluses for the LCI to offset the buck teeth. If I am wrong, BMW will be forced to make changes in the next version. My prediction is this won't happen, that the grill is here to stay, and that people will get used to it.

Look at the Audi grill monstrosity as an example. IMHO it is way too tall and utterly ugly. Even better, look at Lexus. The sharp angles there are a lesson in how not to design a good loooking car. Yet they are now sort of signatures for those brands. Go figure.

I'm glad I got my B7 last year. I prefer the pre-LCI front design.

I've been saying THIS since I first saw the LCI! It is sooooo much nicer than current.
