I would love to see an M7! What I am wondering is maybe the M760i is going to be similar to the M235i, and then we will have a full on M7 with a more powerful (and maybe slightly modified) V12 as we have the M2 and the N55. When the M235i came out years ago they were still denying that there would be an M2 if I remember correctly. Maybe this is the case here as well.

Look at the closed front kidney grills which make me believe this car is somehow electric.
All 7 series derivatives has opening and closing active kidney grills in G series now....I think.

I don't think is an M7 test mule. The F10 next to it has some stuff going on with it as well. Combined with an X6M to round out the trio, it's most likely a mule for the F90. There are some interesting bits on that G11.

The big one that stands out...

The water supply line that's come loose from its clip under that rear camo piece plus the temporary bracket at the rear of the right front wheel arch with tubes routing up into the engine bay.

Wouldn't be surprised if this is testing for an 8er/9er model drivetrain

That's a good point. They've used the 7 Series as a test mule for other models before. Remember the images of that F02 7 Series driving around with all the weight strapped to the roof? We were thinking at the time that it was testing parts of the upcoming X7 chassis.

Doesn't explain the cross drilled rotors which BMW only puts on M models.

Stop the madness. BMW should focus their M efforts and stop diluting it's value with things like this possible M7 nonsense.

This will probably use an uprated V12 if it is the M7...

The new 7 Series has active kidney grilles which can be closed or opened. And not sure why a hybrid model would have cross drilled rotors.

There has been talk of hybrid technology coming to M cars. A few examples of hybrid cars that are focused on performance are the Porsche 918, the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari La Ferrari.

Exactly. And with Porsche building an all electric, tesla dominating, BMW has said they will have a lot of electric/hybrid cars in the next 5 years.

Can rule out this being a hybrid test vehicle. ECE mandates they must be labeled externally as such.

The water hose in the back and extra plumbing in the front suggest Water Injection test mule for S63 motor amongst other things.

In the rear, just to the left of the right exhaust outlet. It's clear/white (possibly frozen?). There are no vacuum lines in the rear of the G11, it's not air suspension as those look very different, are routed through a different location, and it's not a high pressure hose.

In the front wheel arch, there's a lot of something going on right at the outer edge of the liner.

There are actually 2 G11 mules in those pics as well.

The F10 M5 next to one of them has M Performance Exhaust and almost appears as if it's sticking out further than normal, though that could just be an optical illusion.

What is it with the exhaust on these new models; hidden with chrome ring looks freaking awful.

Go up against? No, this would be above both of them.
