Question Accidentally deleted all the music in my 750i

I was deleting one of the music folders in my F01 750i which I've done many times before. But after it was taking so long, I knew I was FUBAR! I had like forty folders of various tunes.

Anyone ever do this? Any way to restore?

You have music loaded on your car, how old are you? What is this madness? I'm guessing that you could just load it again, right? Like from a reel to reel or a 5.25" floppy.

Can't you just load that same music again the same way you did it initially?

I can definitely reload the cars Drive with music. But unfortunately... I had music on there from over 7 years ago that unfortunately I no longer have anywhere.
I'll have to reacquire some of the music again and reupload it. Some is forever lost I guess.
But you never know unless you ask.

Do you know how you deleted the music?

The previous owner of my car left a bunch of music from the middle east on my car and it's not my style

Haha!

Real simple: once you're playing from your stored music, hit options from iDrive - select Delete either current folder your in or select individual folders. done it many times before. But somehow it deleted the entire drive which is optional if you select "All".

Not really. The stuff that will be missed are original mixes I loaded from CDs years ago that are long thrown away.

Awesome thank you. I'll check that next time when I'm in the car!
