Question about head unit

My 2019 750i is currently at the dealer for a repair of the SiriusXM radio. At this point, it looks like they head unit needs to be replaced. Of course, it's on back order. Does anyone know if an upgraded head unit from a newer model would be compatible? I'd love to have the newer version of idrive with the ability to use the cameras as dash cam, expanded apps, etc…

How long did it take for the replacement head unit to arrive? Mine needs a new one too.
