Issues with Rear Tablet removal malfunction

Took delivery of my M760i last week, and doing my best to go through it with a fine touch comb. Factory Warranty expires in exactly 2 months.

Tablet is present and 100% connected and operational. That said it won't eject. The arms securing the tablet retract, but does not get pushed up for removal... 🤔 Anyone else see this?

Only other issue I got is the Engine Start Button film starting to bubble, which I'm sure will turn into breaking/peeling. Anyone get BMW to fix that under warranty?

Have to admit, definitely loving this car.

I can say only one thing - The colour is f**** awesome.

As for the poor-quality finish or the problem with the tablet, I have no experience because mine is never moved. After 5 years of use, in mine there is no wear of any kind when it comes to the interior of the vehicle. Very likely that someone has relied on the tablet with all their body weight or strong "fun" with installing the tablet in the tray... (unfortunately the parts are plastic and probably broken)

Stunning finish quality.

Thanks man. I hesitated as the car WAs about $20k more than I was planning on spending (was originally shopping for Red Audi RS7, but then happened upon a RED Twin Turbo V12? I was sold.

Entirely possible on the tablet. I agree, it will will probably never get removed. I just would like the car to do what it's supposed to. 🤣

It's only a 20k mile car, but like you said, hard to say with plastic bits. I know I'm paranoid about leaving the center console down, for someone may think they should steal the fancy tablet in plain sight...

Mine gets removed from time to time, if the kids in the back need help. Works ok.

Had the same issue with the start button peeling. Definitely can be fixed under warranty.

Fixed peeling start button and dead climate control pixels under warranty no issues. Just had to point it out.
