electronically disable gesture control sensor

What are my options for electronically disabling the gesture control sensor?

If you do a search you will find where to put some tape to blind the sensor. I assume it is interfering with your radar detector. Others have had the same problem.

I was in a buddy of mine G recently. We were talking and noticed any movement of hands, which done people do while talking, caused several unwanted radio changes.
Definitely annoying and gimmicky.
