Lightbulb 2022 Audi A8 V8

Just when you think Audi can't possibly do more with their signature LED light displays... They go and blow my mind with this absolute "LED Light Show"!
The car itself.... Exterior side profile is too bland and subdued for my tastes. Front end is attractive and menacing. A nice set of forged 22s will certainly help along with a shiny paint instead of whack matte.
Still don't know why they opted for no true exhaust?
But that interior tho....

Thoughts?

They made it look good in some shots in the video but in real life they just look like a large A4.

Exactly what I was thinking. Way too expensive to not be a unique stand out vehicle.
I would much rather have a SQ8, which we're considering for my wife.

I always like to see what Audi is doing with their LED lighting. It's apparent they really focus on that area. I even like the A8. Yeah, it looks similar to the 4 and 6 but its understated styling stands out in the sea of look at me styling that's out there now.

Beautiful interior. NO TACKY add on instrument panel which we seem to be seeing from BMW these days.

I find this as the new normal in the Euro market.

C > E > S

3 > 5 > 7

Most people can't tell the difference unless you're an enthusiast or own one of the models.

My 750 gets confused for a 5 series all the time and I can't blame them lol

Indeed a nice car ! BUT! I drove the 3 editions and none are even close to a 7 or an S. You still have the feel of a pumped car with more bells and whistles.
That glorious v10 Lambo engine in 2010 models any day! The rest pass baby

Me:

Good point! That is exactly why I was elated with this LCI update to the G series. It looks MUCH better and has tons more presence!
I was planning to grab one this Spring, pre-owned of course, Lease Return. But the way the used market is going, I may wait til next year. The all new 7 will have been released which will equal even more savings.

I als wonder what color that is Wills2?

Damn that color is the Titz! I am definitely deciding between these 3:

Dravit
Donnington
Bernina Amber Effect

Any one of these with full black shadowline trim and a nice set of forged 22's... Yum!!!

Wow huge wheels you must have smooth ass roads over there!

It's a real shape shifter dravit goes from dark battle ship grey to that bronze/brown you see in that photo, I also like donnington and Bernina as well, tough choice but no bad ones.

I live in the UK so it is mainly battleship grey BTW.

Yep. My area has very smooth roads. Plus I only drive @ 5k miles a year. I've been rolling 22s and lowered for nearly a decade in my F01.
Here's my current setup FYI...

I would go for Donington, looks excellent on the M5.

I’d say avoid Donington, as nobody can spell it.
