Would you worry about engine or transmission issues with these tunes?

In my case, I am not worried. If you think of a M760i having about 610hp rated and showing 625hp at least, on the Sport Display, and then going up to "only" 800hp or so, that is only a 25-30% gain at most.

I come from a background where we routinely took 1990s 300Zxs and boosted them up to 100% of the stock 300hp or more. Mine was around 650hp.

Now 'that' would kill rod bearings. (and did, in the case of this car, it was sold for a song with rod knock disclosed, as a project fixer-upper). But the transmissions and diffs were fine.

Noelle, at least, has an F10 M5 they tuned, and claim it has 120k miles on the 850hp tune.

No issues whatsoever. It wasn't on an aggressive tune. The handles it extremely well. Drove better than stock.

For the other items, my dealership gives me good labor prices as long as I bring them BMW products which I order from distribution centers (avoid dealer markups).
My BMW tech said the same thing about the M760xi transmission, but stated that it's the manufacturer recommendation because they don't want any liability for damages during fluid & filter change.

However, if there are any issues before the 100,000 mile fluid exchange requirement outlined in the service manual (such as the sleeve that TCU connects go through/ known for leaks in the zf6hp's), then they would drain all fluid from the trans and replace along with new pan with built in filter.

Supposedly all zf6hp's & zf8hp's are sealed do to manufacturers reducing their risks of being held accountable damage and to conserve oil.
I can say that I've changed on all my previous 7-series.

The m760 looks to have a 8hp90 trans which is the same trans in the hellcat. The hellcat guys say its good to about 1khp.
