That's the truth. I spent two days driving that thing and it really shouldn't drive the way it does for how big it is. The technology in the car is absolutely awesome, and gesture control is FANTASTIC.

hopefully it charges in the car. if I have to charge it daily along with my phone, watch and laptop I will throw a fit

weak points.
1. no inductive charging? micro usb is lame
2. fluidity of animation on screen is not 60fps, not up to standard, or in the industry it's known as jank

This key fob reminds me of Tamagotchi. Maybe BMW will put a pet program in the key fob, forget to feed it? You're not allowed to open your vehicle for 24 hours.

My understanding is the wireless charger unit in the center console of the car will charge this new display key. See Video:
