Oh boy.... The face only a mother could love (or a certain market(is definitely coming.
The only positive thing I see (which won't be enough to sway me) is the Technology will undoubtedly be nice. The overall interior looks to be very nice. And the electric option.

And what is it with steering wheels that they are no longer round? How do they justify the flat bottom part of this?

I'd love to have a chat with the designer on this but suspect that won't be possible due to them being on a different planet

The interior pics have been around for a while, I like the seats, the rest you can't really get a feel for but I don't think a shelf with a screen is very "luxurious" in terms of aesthetics, also it's not a hot hatch trying to be a supercar so doesn't need a flat bottomed steering wheel (hopefully an option)

The front will be a challenge but so was the LCI of the G11/12 and I love the front end of that, makes the pre face lift look undernourished.

To each their own, me personally, I'm ready for something different looking; I immediately adapted to the G07 and G8X looks. The G11/12 was boring in the looks dept, but along came the LCI and it looked worlds better. I cannot wait for the reveal 👀

I get a strong feeling the interior will be inspired by the iX. Personally I dislike the interior design of the iX as it feels very minivan-like, however it may work on an executive sedan.

While the exterior renders are questionable in their accuracy, I don't think there's any denying that BMW is about to royally f*ck up the front end of this car.

Couldn't BMW at least make an attempt to integrate the screen into the dash. It looks like an after thought.

If they're gonna copy MB's seat controls on the door and screen design they should also put the heated and cooled seat controls there rather than burying them in the infotainment, that's my least favorite aspect of iDrive 8.0.

I have hated this design element with a passion ever since it was introduced!
