Count me skeptical, but.... I am surprised that this will indeed
an officially sanctioned professional bout rather than an exhibition!
This makes the stakes rather high indeed. But, I am still not convinced that Jake has paid Mike to throw the fight. I watch Boxing and enjoy the Sport. I believe I will be able to tell if it's 'fixed' or not once the Bell Rings...

Ya know, on one hand I am very skeptical. But then again, watching current training footage of Mike, he is still dangerous!
I am just glad it's on NETFLIX! Because I would NOT pay to view.

Used to be a big boxing fan. Watched all the fights, big and small. Julio Cesar Chavez and Manny Pacquiao were a couple of my favorite fighters. Just lost interest, I guess. Watched Tyson for the knockouts. Usually didn’t disappoint.

Class certainly does not go away. However, the issue is fitness that cannot be regained due to the ravages of Father Time.

FWIW Jake's fiancee Jutta lives overhere in my hometown, last summer his whole entourage (bodyguards friends whoever etc ) was sleeping in a hotel nearby.
They both visitited one of the local bars overhere, but none of the people walking by etc overhere knew what was going on LOL

Jutta's housekeeper is also our housekeeper 'maid'(?)

If Jake Paul 'wins' this fight then consider me convinced that the fix is in. I'm no boxing expert, but I've been watching recent videos of Mike Tyson training and compared them to Jake Paul; even today, Tyson looks like an absolute wrecking ball. I'm a huge Tyson fan and I hope he goes old school and knocks the absolute shit out of Jake Paul in the first round.

The press conference(s) does not inspire confidence that we will see the Iron Mike of old. Part of me doesn't blame him for cashing in, who can say no to a few million for an afternoons worth of work? On the other hand, its disappointing to tarnish a legacy (win or lose) by giving an influencer even the opportunity to step into the ring with a living legend.
