So I decided to splurge and pick up my dream car. It's a 2016 BMW 750i G11 Executive package in carbon black metallic, BMW CPO car with warranty left on it until October 24th 2022. Here are a few pics! Side note, I'm having a tiny issue with the car and although this is covered under warranty I wanted to ask if any other owners have had this problem. Occasionally, the car shows an SOS call failure malfunction but the odd thing is it only comes up sometimes, after shutting the car off and starting it after, for example the morning after it goes away and occasionally comes back.

Nice ride. Good luck with it!

No issues here with the SOS in my 2016.

Thanks! This is my 3rd seven, had a 2004 E65 745i in black, and a 2011 F01 750i M pkg. BMW really nailed it with the G11, feels much better than the F01

Love your car, looks beautiful, wish you many happy miles.

SOS call malfunction is a common problem, caused either by an software isuue or by the small 12V battery in your TCU, this is resolved wither by flashing new software sometimes or by replacing your TCB under warranty.

Alternativly the SOS can be coded out of the car but then it will not work, since you qre under warranty the dealer will flash and replace your TCB.

Appreciate the help. Time to make a call to the bmw dealer, I'm already extremely happy about having bmw warranty. I had the same issue with my F32 with the SOS call malfunction but never got around to dealing with it as that car had no warranty.

I have the same car, purchased about a year ago. Love it for sure.

SOS happened to mine as well. Needed a new battery as mentioned previously.
