driver's seat reset/calibration

What is the service procedure for a reset/calibration of the driver's seat? The seat frame was replaced and now the saved driver's profile does not take the seat to the desired position. The profile was loaded into another similar car and it worked satisfactorily.

You need to run seat calibration in ISTA.

Apparently the calibration failed and they are returning the car to me unrepaired. They don't know how to fix it. Now what do I do?

Are they saying it is up to specs or are they saying they can't fix it? Seems to me a BMW dealer has a responsibility not to simply say "I can't do that." There are ways for a dealer to escalate an issue back to the factory. If your car is a 2019 it is under warranty and they have a responsibility to repair.

Got the car back yesterday evening. Apparently the seat rails were missing 'Stop seat rail' - 52107382009 #9 in the diagram attached. Documentation received from the dealer refers to SIB 52.01.21. Seat was successfully calibrated after installing the stops. Can someone get me the SIB?
