my bmw not working

Hey, have g12 new for me and trying to connect my bmw to the car but problem is that no messages comes in car to verify code in phone, car is 2016 imported from US, i live in Europe, maybe in here US cars are not working or do i need active subscription to add my g12 in the app?

Could it be an issue with the inbuilt SIM not working outside of the US. Do any of the other services that require the SIM in the car work?

Quite a few of the services require the SIM, but not sure which will work without any subscriptions, as I have everything enabled, including Concierge.

Is it worth a call to BMW customer services in your country, as they may be able to check the system to see the status of your car/SIM. There is also a team that manage the connected drive app and system, who they can escalate to. I had to engage them at the end of my initial 3 year term, as some of the service renewal dates got out of sync, which they had to fix on their backend systems.

Unfortunately it won't work - it's blocked by BMW
